The Auspice Name

The Auspice name means a sign of good things to come, an omen. The Auspice logo (an endless knot) is derived from the Eight Auspicious Symbols of Tibetan mythology and symbolize the Union of Wisdom and Method. This captures the essence of the Auspice philosophy, which is the application of knowledge and experience to the commodity markets.

Auspice was founded in 2005 to provide investors with products to participate in the commodity markets using responsible risk management. The reality is that the average investor does not have enough direct commodity exposure in their investment portfolio. The addition of commodity exposure to a portfolio of traditional investments (equities, bonds, and real estate) can increase overall returns while lowering the volatility and standard deviation of returns.
